Interested in hunting?
I had a friend recently message me about how to get into hunting. I was so glad that he felt comfortable reaching out and asking...
Grown for the wild.
Built from the Hearth.
Our Roots

We have many big dreams for our future, including owning our own land. Follow along on our journey as we face new challenges and we embrace many adventures. Read about our many projects as we build a wild future.
Quick Look
Put on hold.
These old cushion covers are falling off. We are going to replace the cushion foam and sew new covers that we can toss in the washing machine. We can camp in comfort.
Plans have changed.
Our welder friend designed us a quad carrier that will attach to the frame of the camper. It will have a ramp to load and unload.
Update coming soon
We picked up a propane burner, and we are going to refurbish a 30 lbs propane tank to make a forge. Long way to go before we can fire it up!
Updates soon...
The 95' Suburban GMC K1500 looks like Dr. Frankenstein's monster now, but when it is finished it will be a mean machine!
Season closed.
We checked out a new area and almost got stuck in the mud. We have a few more spots to check out, and there is plenty of time yet until the rut starts.
Home. Sweet Home.
We traded labour for this camp trailer, but it needs some TLC. Will it be ready in time for hunting season?
Delayed for good reason!
We designed a greenhouse that we are going to build in the spring. It will allow us to starts seeds earlier and grow more, such as a tea garden for Alex.
Needs another coat.
The warm weather has given us the opportunity to prime and paint the clean metal, effectively sealing it off until springtime, when we can do a nice job painting the body.
New Skill
Over the cold winter, we decided to pick up a new skill and learned how to tie paracord wraps, lanyards, and keychains.
